Abstract

In this paper we analyze the self-embedding problem with the use of a revised erasure communication channel. Our approach eliminates two major problems with the design of efficient content reconstruction systems and allows for straightforward theoretical analysis of the reconstruction performance. Based on the proposed approach, we present a reconfigurable self-embedding system which is experimentally evaluated in a number of possible configurations. The presented theoretical results are verified experimentally using Monte Carlo simulations. The proposed scheme outperforms existing solutions and allows to achieve high reconstruction quality even with high tampering rates.
